Last week, the Open Cloud Institute (OCI) was proud to take part in UTSA’s Roadrunner Days, a signature welcome event for new students entering the College of AI, Cyber, and Computing. The energy was high and the enthusiasm unmistakable as students explored a campus community at the cutting edge of innovation.
We tabled at the event alongside our valued industry partner, Rackspace, engaging with students eager to launch their academic and professional journeys in cloud computing, AI, cybersecurity, and data science.
Our team shared information about the OCI Cloud Certificate Program, which offers students a competitive edge in today’s rapidly evolving tech landscape. We also introduced opportunities for work-study employment with OCI meant to help build real-world experience that helps students foster critical skills while earning as they learn.
In addition to our academic offerings, we encouraged students to stay connected with us throughout their time at UTSA. From faculty-led research initiatives to industry networking and mentorship, OCI is here to support students every step of the way.
We’re excited to welcome this new generation of Roadrunners and look forward to seeing the incredible things they’ll accomplish.
